Small holiday house by the sea in Costa Calma. Great isn´t it?
“Great is really only the clear sea and the wide, sandy beach that stretches from here to Morro Jable,” I was thinking again when driving to Costa Calma.
I’m perhaps a little harsh in my prejudice, because, I know there exists also really Costa Calma fans. But this place and me – how shall I say it? – we are not really good friends. It was not love at the first sight and also not on the hundredth. Only since the last monthes I start to respect the efforts of making the town al little bit nicer.
Costa Calma has a purely tourist origin. There is no real center and the hotels and apartment complexes seems to be a little bit lethargic in the dry sand.
The most houses and apartments in Costa Calma have also a particularly lovely spots but the one I drove through was located on a small hill with really great views of the coast, far to the south and the sea.

The small holiday house by the sea in Costa Calma, which I visited today and, was located at one of the best places there. On two floors it offers three bedrooms and nice sea views. Small is relative and therefore and it´s quite likely to be seen in comparison to the large villas and cottages that I have visited and described before. Two of the bedrooms are on the lower part of the house. And right to the term of “small”: they are not particularly large. That must be admitted. But beds and wardrobes are there and everything is very well maintained. And who already wants to stay the hole in the bedroom?
The two bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower-tub, toilet and bidet and a separate guest toilet is also included. The large living room leads to a kitchen with serving hatch, where you can make yourself comfortable on a cahir and watch others at work. In addition, you can go from here directly to the outside, to the terrace and the small garden area. Garden furniture and sun loungers are available and whether you are seated or lying here, you have definitely always the beautifull sea in sight.

On the upper floor of the house there is a large bedroom with its own large bathroom and access to a glazed roof terrace with a great view of the sea and the beaches of Costa Calma.
The Jewel of the house is the open plan living and kitchen area with direct access to the terrace. And the view of the sea is from here – as I said – perfect. Another highlight – you park the car either on the street outside the house or in the garage and go straight down to the sea in a few minutes. Opposite of the house there is a small swimming-bay – very good for children – and only a few steps to further you will find the broad and main beach of Costa Calma.

Small holiday house with a great view and close to everything you need.
In Costa Calma itself you can find everything you need. Supermarkets, shopping centers, a great German bakery, many cafes and many restaurants. And if you are looking for variety, you’re only in 15 minutes in Jandia and Morro Jable. On the way to the south you have to visit some beach sections. Relax and enjoy the beaches where the best surfers and kite schools are located too.
